If you’ve bought music online before,or if you own a bunch of CDs and you want to transfer them to your phone,the easiest way to do this is by copying the music from your computer to your phone.Follow these steps to connect your phone to your computer and copy music files to the phone:
1. Plug your phone into the computer using the USB cable that came with the phone.
2. Tap and pull down the status bar,and then tap the USB connected - Select to copy files to/from your computer option.
3. If you’re using Windows Vista,open the Computer folder;you’ll see your phone listed as a drive.This means it’s available for you to move files to.If you’re using a Mac,an icon for the phone should appear on your desktop somewhere.Double-click the phone’s icon to open a window just for the phone.
4. Find the folder on your computer that has your music,and open it.
5. Drag any music files you want to move from the Music folder on your computer to the music folder on the phone.
When you’re done,just unplug the phone,and you’re ready to rock.
