Viewing Your Contacts

You have a few different ways to access your contacts.

On your computer, you can pull them up by opening your browser and going to www.gmail.com,signing in,and clicking Contacts.

On your phone, however, you have a number of different ways to access your contacts:

• Tap the Contacts icon on the home screen.

• Open the Applications tab,and tap Contacts.

• Open the Dialer, and tap the Contacts tab,

Now that you can see your contacts, you have a couple of ways to display them on the screen.

When you’re looking at your list of contacts, press the Menu button and touch Display group. The options are fairly self-evident;however,if you go to your Gmail account in a web browser, you can set up groups of contacts. Those groups will be listed here as well.

Note:  You can create groups of contacts from your computer.Just log in to Gmail, click Contacts, and then click the New Group button.Name your group, and then you can add any of your existing contacts or a new contact to the group.I have a group for all my family members so when I need to send out an announcement or a group email,I can select the group instead of selecting each person individually.
