Playing a YouTube Video

We’ll start by launching the YouTube application and finding a few videos to watch.Follow these steps:

1. Tap the Application tab,scroll down,and tap YouTube.

2. Tap Most Popular .

3. Tap a video to play it.

Note: Because this list is continually in flux,your list of the most popular videos probably won’t look like ours

If you want to pause the video while you’re watching it,just tap the phone’s screen to bring up the controls.

Note: If you receive a phone call while listening to music or watching a YouTube video,your phone interrupts the video to allow you to answer the call.

Tap the pause button to pause the video,the play button to restart the video,or the rewind and fast-forward buttons to move through the video.You’ll also notice a status bar that shows you exactly how long the video is,how much of it you’ve watched,and how much time is left.

Note: Some videos are so funny,strange,or amazing that you want to watch a few secondsof them repeatedly. You can do this by tapping the screen to display the DVD player-like controls,tapping and holding the progress bar,and sliding the whole bar back a bit.Tap the play button,and your video starts again from the point you just selected.

To return to the YouTube application,you can do one of three things:

• Wait for your current video to finish playing.

• Press the Back button on the phone.

• Press the Menu button,and then tap Home Page.
