Viewing Your Calendar

Even if you haven’t used your calendar at http://calendar.google.com yet,all you need to do to see your calendar is open the Application tab and tap the Calendar icon.

When you first open your calendar, you are likely looking at the default Monthly view.If your calendar doesn’t look like the figure, press the Menu button, and tap Month to switch your view.

At the top of the screen, you see the current month and year.Any day that has an event has a green bar to the right of the date number.

If you want to scroll backward and forward through days of the week or months, simply drag your finger up and down the screen.

Monthly view is the best view for seeing what day of the week November 11 is,and to see if you’re generally free next Wednesday, but it isn’t all that helpful for seeing your schedule for a particular day. There are multiple ways to do this:

• Tap the day you want to see.

• Tap and hold a particular day. When the pop-up box appears, tap Day to get the screen .

• Press the Menu button, and tap Day.This opens the daily calendar for the currently selected day.

While you’re in Daily view, you can drag your finger up and down the screen to scroll through the day,and left and right to move to a previous or later day.

If you want to see the whole week, press the Menu button and tap Week. This shows you the weekly schedule for whatever week you just selected.

As in Day view, scrolling up and down moves you through the day of the week, and left and right moves you to earlier and later weeks.

Note:  Has playing around with the navigation caused you to get lost in a different day, week,or month? Just press the Menu button and tap Today.
