Removing Songs from Your Library

It happens. You take an old CD,put all the songs on your computer, and then copy them to your phone. You’re grooving to the beats when, all of a sudden,a song comes up and you remember why that CD was collecting dust on your shelf.

Most every group has a stinker or two in their catalog. It happens.Even my favorite groups, like Eddie From Ohio,The Gourds, and Great Big Sea (pause for everyone to say “Who?”) have one or two songs that, frankly,I just don’t care for.But it’s on your phone now! That song you hate.It might remind you of an ex-girlfriend or a bad hangover. It doesn’t matter why;you just want to get rid of it.

There’s no need to hook the phone back up to your computer. If you are listening to the song right now, press the Menu button and then tap Delete. You’re asked if you’re sure you want to delete it.

Of course, there’s more than one way to delete a song.If you’re looking at a song in a list, just tap and hold the song, and tap Delete when the menu comes up.If you’re looking at a list of Artists or Albums, you can tap and hold the artist or album and tap Delete when it comes up. You have to delete songs one at a time.
