Playing Music

Your phone comes with a few songs pre-loaded ,so you can begin listening to music right away. The steps are very simple.

Tap the Application tab,and then tap Music to display the screen.

You can choose from the following options:

• Artists: This screen lists all your music grouped by artist. So every song from Flight of the Conchords, for example,is listed together.

• Albums: This screen groups all your music by the album that the song is on.

• Songs: This is just an alphabetical listing of all the songs on your phone.

• Playlists: A playlist is a customized group of songs that you’ve decided should be played one after another. We’ll cover that in just a bit.

Note: You can use the volume controls on the left side of the phone to adjust the music volume. This won’t change the volume of the ringer, just the music.

Wait! The song’s over, but music is still playing! What’s up with that? Well,if youchose a song from an album stored on your phone, when that song is done playing, the next song on the album starts playing. Just tap the Pause button if you wanted to hear only that one song.

If,after selecting a specific song, you want to go back to the music list, you can tap the Back to music list button,,or press the phone’s Back button. If you press the Menu button and tap Music Library, you see at the bottom of the screen what is currently playing.

At this point, you can just navigate through your library and find more songs to play.
